Program Lead - Agriculture & Climate

Takudzwanashe Mundenga holds a Master of Science in Capacity Development and Extension specializing in International Development from the University of Guelph. With a solid foundation in agricultural extension, capacity building and journalism, his keen interest lies in advocating for sustainable food systems. As a beneficiary of Canada’s multidisciplinary soil research initiative – the NSERC-CREATE Climate Smart-Soils, he is passionate about fostering climate change adaptation and mitigation in the agricultural sector. Furthermore, he participatedin the Rural Changemakers Program 2024 organized by the Rural Ontario Institute, where he founded and coordinated the community initiative known as Faces of Resilience. Through collaborations with diverse organizations focused on soil health and nature-positive climate solutions, Taku brings his wealth of experience to the fore. He also generously shares his insights by contributing articles on sustainability to various media platforms.
