Southern Africa Embrace Foundation, supported by the African Continental Free Trade Agreement Secretariat (AfCFTA), She Forum Africa, David Akwara Films, Mabasa Minerals, Heather Epilepsy Foundation, Ecobank and Nakai Consultants, is pleased to invite you to join us in Accra, Ghana on April 27 & 28th for the fourth edition of WOMEN LEAD FORUM under the theme, ‘StepitUp for AfCFTA’
The Women Lead Forum (WLF) call for women and youth to #StepItUp, was launched in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in March, 2022 . It was also hosted in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe as well as in Abuja, Nigeria. Since its launch, more than two thousand delegates from across Africa and the diaspora have come together to galvanize a strong continental network in support of women to lead, youth empowerment, gender equality and socio-economic empowerment through the AfCFTA.
Furthering the momentum from 2022, the two days event in Accra will welcome delegates from across Africa and the diaspora representing gender equality advocates and activists, entrepreneurs, grassroots networks, youth groups, academia, SMMEs, SMEs, NGOS, ICOs, media, entertainment, public and private entities as well as government and intergovernmental stakeholders.
DAY 1 (9:30am – 2:00pm)
April 27th (AFRICA TRADE HOUSE) – Youth Day, featuring a youth high level plenary session, AfCFTA workshops, fireside chats and speed networking for entrepreneurs.
COCKTAIL EVENING RECEPTION ( 6pm – 9pm) by Invitation only .
DAY 2 (9:30am – 4:30pm)
April 28th (ECOBANK HEADQUARTERS) – High-level opening plenary session with a keynote address from the AfCFTA Secretariat, followed by panel discussions, fireside chats, business presentations and business networking.
